Adi Globus
Adi Globus is a performance artist currently studying her Masters in Social Work at New York University. She spent her first few years between New Jersey and Israel-Palestine before her family settled in the Hudson Valley, living about an hour outside of Manhattan. She grew up competing as a swimmer as well as performing in theatre, film, and as a vocalist. Following an opportunity to immerse herself in European culture and language, she moved to Leiden, The Netherlands, where she earned her BSc. in Psychology.
Due to begin a Masters in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology at University College London during the height of COVID-19, she decided not to attend and instead moved to Munich, Germany, where she worked as a teacher. In 2021 she moved back to the US to pursue acting professionally and lived in Los Angeles, working various jobs while developing herself in the industry.

As an actor, she has worked in both film and theatre alongside Doug Jones, Angus Macfadyen, and Nadia Alexander among others, and has been featured in national campaigns for clients including Meta (Facebook) and T-Mobile.

Her work has since shifted outside of performance in theatre, television, and film, and more deeply into the anthropological and psychological study of performance, music, writing, and dance as used for collective healing around the world. She hopes to be able to integrate her performance background and its mentorship as interwoven within her own trauma healing alongside global teachings on collective healing, and reshape them into an integrative mind-body approach that she can utilize in clinical work with individuals as well as couples.
Additionally, she hopes in time to make her way back to psychoanalysis, even if no longer at UCL.

Alongside her studies, Adi is a private academic tutor and homeschool teacher for neurodivergent children and young adults. She co-founded a swim program, Swim Inn, in 2012 in the Hudson Valley, where she continues teaching swim seasonally and working with students from four months old to adults.

Adi is passionate about child development and complex childhood trauma, gender and LGBTQIA+ studies, and access to care within the aging population.
She loves to cook, make music, read, and write, and she surfs, cycles, and practices yoga as much as she can.
Adi has been living in New York City since 2024.
